The Waltz Of Nature

Night falls by the riverside,
The sunlit sky makes way for the moonlight;
The trees whisper in the air,
They send invitations for the nocturnal fair;
The earth is green, the sky is deep blue,
The river under the full moon is a painter's dream come true;
The flowers curl their petals and go to sleep,
As through the clouds the moon keeps playing hide-n-seek;
As time passes by calmness sets in,
The moon watches the leaves dance with the wind;
The water flows with a grace so feline,
Blessed by God, the moment is divine;
Between the moon and the river is a one night love affair,
But the bliss of the moment is beyond compare;
This is where time moves in an enchanting trance;
Deep in the heart of nature lies an undying romance.

The Unborn

The womb is it's world,
The birth is near;
Everyone is talking to it,
Yet it's mother's heartbeat is all it can hear.
In the world of pre-life,
Time passes in dreaming;
Although it's being loved,
It doesn't have any feelings.
The eyes don't open,
But soon they will see the light;
The father will be ecstatic,
The mother will cry tears of joy.
The wait has been long,
And ahead lies a life;
But just like everyday ends at midnight,
The unborn will live to die.

The Juvenile Dead

There I was, trying to be a better friend and a loving son,
But I stumbled on my way and fell deep into oblivion;
Everywhere I looked there was darkness surrounding me,
I made to the door but I didn't have the key.
I held my hand up in the air,
Hoping that someone would hold them and make this life worth living;
But it never happened,
There were no hands to hold on to in this world so unforgiving.
Maybe I should have said the words left un said,
Maybe I should not have stopped the tears that never flowed,
Maybe I could have been a little more caring,
Maybe that's why I was never loved.
Why couldn't anyone understand me,Why was there a mask on my feelings,
Why did I laugh away my tears,
Why didn't I accept the truth and not think I'm dreaming.
That day when the boy inside me was crying uncontrollably,
When everyone I knew was trying to pin me down;
Why didn't they comfort me instead,
Why did I have to be a juvenile dead.

My Life In Retrospect

As I lay on my bed waiting to die,
I began to look back upon my life;
There was no spark, no colour or no light,
My vegetated existence was painted in black and white.
In a world where facts were concealed by liars,
My beliefs were buried under my desires;
I never put anything above my esteem,
I was ruled by my ego supreme.
I did not think of my friends or family,
Money was the only thing I could see;
I never looked into my child's glowing eyes,
What they wanted from me, I never cared to realize.
In the last few moments of my life,
I thought of how better my life could have been,
As the countdown began the truth dawned upon me;
I was immune before I could start feeling;
I was dead before my heart could stop beating.
